Help us put books in the hands of children growing up without them. Here are some ways your gift will make a difference:

$40 will provide 10 new books - one for each check-up visit from 6 months to 5 years
$160 will provide books for a young family with 4 children
$800 will help provide new books for 20 children
$1,600 helps ROR provide new books for 40 children

Become a Book Buddy! Your monthly gift will ensure that ROR continues to reach additional children living in poverty. Simply check the Book Buddy option on the donation form.

Remember someone special with a gift to ROR. We will acknowledge your gift of $40 or more with a beautiful gift card. Gifts can be made in honor of: birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, teacher appreciation, and other special occasions.

Appreciated Securities
A gift of appreciated securities may maximize your tax savings. A charitable gift of publicly traded stock is deductible at its fair market value, enabling a donor to avoid capital gains tax on any appreciation. Matching Gifts
By taking advantage of a company's matching gift program you can generate an additional gift that may automatically double or triple your own contribution.

Here's how to make a matching gift:
Check with your company's human resource department to find out about its policy.
Obtain a matching gift form from your company.
Fill out your section of this form and send it (along with your donation) to:

Combined Federal Campaign
Our identification number for the Fall 2007 Combined Federal Campaign, the annual fundraising drive for Federal employees and military personnel, is 10396. For information on how to designate ROR as the recipient of your gift please contact your human resources office.
