Reach Out and Read has designed a brand-new training program for its 15,000 pediatric care providers nationwide. Below is a video clip from the new training program, featuring Dr. Sean Palfrey and his patient Youcef at the critical 5-year-old well-child checkup - when Dr. Palfrey determines that Youcef is ready to enter kindergarten! Leyendo Juntos (Reading Together), is Reach Out and Read's special initiative for Spanish-speaking families nationwide. Actress and children's book author Julianne Moore narrated this video which describes the special initiative and how it is implemented at Reach Out and Read Programs nationwide.
