The Expressive Vocabulary Test, Third Edition (EVT-3) is an instrument that can be used to assess English-speaking expressive vocabulary and word retrieval. For a comprehensive assessment of English-speaking vocabulary, this tool can be used in conjunction with the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT), a measure of receptive vocabulary.

    • Three-tier model of vocabulary

    • Crossover vocabulary sampling with the PPVT
