Investing in Impact.

With more than 39 clinic locations we provide more than 20,871 children and their families with free books and resources that promote early childhood literacy.

Our evidence-based model is backed by a large and growing body of academic research. We utilize the existing medical infrastructure, to encourage supportive, educational conversations with parents on the importance of reading aloud and the impact on children’s brain development.

Our Program
Reach Out and Read Vermont promotes early language development skills and health through established systems of well-child visits with an intervention that has the potential to reach all young children in the state.

The Northeast’s Regional Executive Director, Alex Chu, provides local leadership and sets strategic priorities for all aspects of our program in New Hampshire. Alex focuses on cultivating key strategic and funding partnerships as well as providing direction to our dynamic and growing programmatic and development team.

Our Regional Program Director provides technical support to our sites across the state to ensure fidelity to the model.

Our impact is significant and made possible through the hundreds of medical clinicians who implement our program voluntarily to the children and families under their care.
