biography
I am a pediatrician with fellowship training in Craniofacial Medicine and practice in the Seattle Children’s Craniofacial Center. My research at University of Washington focuses on interventions to improve neurodevelopmental and academic outcomes for children with craniofacial differences. Much of my work has focused on literacy interventions for young children. I also study low-cost tools to screen for hearing in low- and middle-income countries. I work with newborn hearing screening programs in the State of Washington and the World Health Organization’s World Hearing Forum.
