The national nonprofit leverages the near-universal reach of the pediatric well-child visit to strengthen families with young children through guidance about nurturing relationships through shared reading. The only national pediatric literacy model endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, Reach Out and Read reaches 4.4 million children across every state in the country through a network of 36,000 clinicians.

Senior Manager of Inclusion and Belonging

Remote | Full-time

The Senior Manager will lead efforts to ensure that ROR’s model is accessible and effective for all children and families, centering DEI throughout every aspect of the organization. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Senior Manager will project manage the development and implementation of key DEI initiatives that align with ROR’s strategic plan, fostering an inclusive culture that reflects the organization’s core values. Associate Director of Development, Georgia

Hybrid based in Atlanta, GA | Full-time

The Associate Director of Development will be responsible for driving fundraising efforts to secure new corporate and foundations funding as well as expanding individual contributions. This role is key to increasing overall funding by 30%, helping to exceed $1.2 million this year. The Specialist is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing grants that will fund our impactful work and strategic priorities. The Grant Specialist will provide grant writing and management support for opportunities generated by multiple Reach Out and Read Northwest Directors and hold their own portfolio of current funders and prospects. Program Manager, Northwest

Hybrid based in Medford, Oregon | Full-time

The Program Manager provides support and leadership to Reach Out and Read program sites in Southeast and Central Oregon by fostering engagement and assuring quality. The Program Manager is a valued contributor to the Northwest team and works closely with the Reach Out and Read Northwest Program Director and teammates in Oregon and Washington to sustain, expand, and support Reach Out and Read program sites. By establishing collaborative relationships with medical providers and staff at multiple program sites and providing professional development services and implementation guidance, the Program Manager provides the support needed to adhere to Reach Out and Read best practices. Northeast Program Specialist, New Hampshire and Vermont

Hybrid based in New Hampshire or Vermont | Part-time

By establishing collaborative relationships with medical providers and staff at multiple program sites and providing ongoing programmatic support, the Northeast Program Specialist provides the guidance needed to adhere to Reach Out and Read best practices. The Northeast Program Specialist has frequent contact with their assigned programs through in-person and virtual visits, phone and email, and develops champions for the Reach Out and Read program among medical providers and staff. Apply here.
