Mia Neal is the newest addition to the Reach Out and Read Georgia team!
Thanks to the support of the United Way of Greater Atlanta, the Bobbie Bailey Foundation, the Scott Hudgens Foundation, Primerica and the overwhelming receptivity from the Georgia pediatric community we were able to bring Mia on as a full-time Regional Program Manager.
Reach Out and Read Georgia Executive Director, Amy Erickson and Program Manager, Karolina Klinker have known Mia for the past three years in her role as the Healthcare Program Consultant with the Georgia Department of Public Health, Project Launch. Mia has her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Nevada and served as the Commissioner of Minority Affairs for the State of Nevada.
Mia understands systems integration, relationship building in communities and the importance of advocacy. She has also managed grants – writing them as well as administering them. Her sister and husband are also in the medical field so her experience and background on all levels will be an asset to our entire organization.
Please join us in welcoming Mia to the team!
