News About Reach Out and Read Georgia
Our team encourages your family to write and send a note to your health care provider to thank them for all they are doing during this crisis, and everyday.
This is a trying time for our communities, our nation, and the world. And yet, our mission and the work we do is just as critical, if not more so during challenging times. Thank you for all you are doing during this crisis.
Our programming is as unique and diverse as our great state. Together, with more than 300 medical partner providers we are creating change and possibility for Georgia families.
I am so thankful for a program like Reach Out and Read that exists to bring opportunity to children. Reading is a treasure and having books to give families without enough money to purchase their groceries let alone books, is a gift.
Many clinicians also said that they use Reach Out and Read as a tool for developmental surveillance and to assess parent-child interactions; family dynamics; the home reading environment; and developmental, motor, and speech delays.
