Allscripts Healthcare Solutions LLC proudly supported Reach out and Read as the beneficiary of its annual conference: Allscripts Client Experience (ACE).
Allscripts is a global leader in healthcare IT with over 30 years of experience, providing physician practices, hospitals, and other healthcare providers with practice management and electronic health record technology.
Every year, Allscripts features a charity at ACE as a part of the organization’s commitment to give back to the communities and causes that impact associates and clients. August was education month at Allscripts. While the individual offices all over the country organized backpack drives and school supply collections, ACE took it a step further to help support literacy as a part of early growth and development paths for kids by asking all ACE attendees to pay a $29 fee to be donated directly to Reach Out and Read.
During the virtual conference, attendees were treated to an interview with Reach out and Read CEO Brian Gallagher, followed by a special entertainment event with the cast of the Broadway production of Harry Potter.
Through this program, Allscripts raised a total of $33,700 to support Reach out and Read.
