At Reach Out and Read, we believe all families should have the tools and information they need to make reading aloud a daily routine. A book is just the beginning, and we play an integral role and responsibility in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within all aspects of our work. With our near-universal reach, we can play a significant leadership role in expanding access to diverse and culturally responsive books for families across the country.
Our #30Hourfor30K Challenge on June 29-30 was ambitious and we challenged you, our generous donors, to help us raise $30,000—which would result in a $30,000 matching gift from several anonymous donors, and you came through with a bang! With your generous donations and supportive words, we raised over $33,000 from 300 donors, resulting in our most successful giving challenge to date and in us receiving the full match.
