National Associate Program Director

The National Associate Program Director will shape Reach Out and Read’s program strategy and implementation as a key member of the National Program & Operations team. Reporting to the National Program Director, this role drives cross-functional initiatives, builds resources, and fosters stakeholder relationships to support ROR’s mission with a commitment to equity and inclusion. Development Manager, Carolinas & DMV Region
Remote based in MD, NC, SC, VA, or DC | Full-time
As Reach Out and Read builds and implements strategies for improved program delivery and expansion, the Development Manager will help define fundraising strategies to support growth and enhance fundraising across the Carolinas and DMV region. The Development Manager will work in partnership with development and program-focused colleagues across the greater community of Reach Out and Read to support the overall development strategy designed by the Regional Director of Development, and will focus largely on development operations, grants, and donor stewardship and communication. Regional Executive Director, Iowa-Nebraska
Hybrid based in Iowa or Nebraska | Full-time
The Regional Executive Director leads Reach Out and Read Iowa-Nebraska, advancing partnerships, policy, and funding to support sustainable growth across both states. Initially reporting to the National Senior Director of Growth, this role will later transition to the COO. With oversight of the Nebraska and Iowa Program Managers, the Director manages a $1.2M budget and collaborates with local staff, National colleagues, and Regional Medical Directors to enhance program impact and operational efficiency. Northeast Program Specialist, New Hampshire and Vermont
Hybrid based in New Hampshire or Vermont | Part-time
By establishing collaborative relationships with medical providers and staff at multiple program sites and providing ongoing programmatic support, the Northeast Program Specialist provides the guidance needed to adhere to Reach Out and Read best practices. The Northeast Program Specialist has frequent contact with their assigned programs through in-person and virtual visits, phone and email, and develops champions for the Reach Out and Read program among medical providers and staff.
