Zac Brown Band Member Coy Bowles Performs at Fenway

When Coy was little he dreamed of becoming a doctor so he was excited to network with affiliate leaders across the country and express his commitment to supporting our work.

Coy Bowels, musician with the popular two time Grammy winning Zac Brown Band autographed Behind the Little Red Door, one of his four children’s books, at the Reach Out and Read National Leadership Conference in Boston.

In celebration of Reach Out and Read’s 30th Anniversary Coy congratulated co-founder Dr. Robert Needlman for his vision in starting the program and the incredible accomplishment of now reaching 5.1 million children across 50 states.

Coy performed songs from his new Music for Tiny Humans children’s album and covered a few classics. When Coy was little he dreamed of becoming a doctor so he was excited to network with affiliate leaders across the country and express his commitment to supporting our work.

Over the years Coy has shown his support for our program donating thousands of his books to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding and helping heighten awareness on Georgia Gives Day.
